Mentagicka Maxium version 3


Okay I gave the thing one hell of an overhall.

-Waves now spawn enemies once every 2-3 seconds instead of .5

-Player now has to manually trigger the next wave by pressing N

-New waves restore the players health and magicka by 50% of max

-Waves now spawn more enemies over a longer period of time.

-Basic enemies are weaker. Health is now 20 instead of 50. 

-Spawnpoints have been scattered across the map instead of clustered near the pillar

-Game has been broken into phases with different enemies per phase. 

Phase 1: waves 1-10. Standard enemies with pylons and the occasional elite

Phase 2: waves 11-20 Regular enemies and elites  get an upgrade.  Phases 1 and 2 are sort of the "warm up" phases where spending your skill points wisely sets you up for the rest of the game.

Phase 3: waves 21-30. Arcane javelins and elite pylons

Phase 4: prism tanks that spawn in squads

Phase 5: anti archons that have attacks that not only hurt like hell but temporarily debuff you. 

-Player now uses XP to level up instead of their magicka. 

-Updated tutorials to reflect changes and simplified them

-Got rid of pictures of tutorials and changed it to a quick "Shoot this dude, hey you got xp, press U to spend it"

-Upgrades are now selected by pressing U

-Upgrades include: Spell level,  armor and movement speed.

-Upgrade buttons turn blue and make a sound when you mouse over them. This took longer than it should to implement.

-There are now 3 different Heal Spells to choose from. They all pull from your health regeneration amount.

-Enabled UI interface to show selected spell on Spell Selection/Heal Skill screen

Active Heal: Heals 3hp per second and costs 30 mana to use. Has 30 second cooldown

Passive Heal: Heals .5hp a second. Has no mana cost or cooldown

Pacifist Heal: Heals 1hp a second but is disabled for 5 seconds after receiving damage

-Added an On Hit effect to enemies

-There is now an auditory and visual notification when the player is hit

-Low Health indicator

-Low Magicka Indicator

New enemies and bosses!

Vipers: Similar to basic enemies, instead of firing at you from range, a Viper will rapidly close in and orbit you before firing. 

Tanks: A rapid fire machine gun for when the Archon gets close and a powerful cannon to hit you at range with.

Boss Tank: Brutal in every sense of the term. Has two machine guns that are inaccurate at range but devastating up close. Has a booster that activates to close in on you at long distance. Being hit by the tank does massive damage. Two smoke grenade launchers make evading the Tank's attacks difficult.  Dual scatter mine cannons litter the ground with mines at range. When the tank closes in to a certain distance, it will engage its minigun. Inaccurate but will tear you apart by its firerate.

Anti-archons: Fly around and have multiple attacks that temporarily lower some of your stats and drain mana.

Future updates

-More spells/special skills

-Infernal reaper who will offer you deals. Deals will include but are not limited to: 

1. Go through a portal and attempt to retrieve an item. If you don't get back before the time limit, you're stuck there until the portal reopens.

2. Your max health is lowered to half for 5 waves but XP gain is increased by 50% during that time.
